Why can't I type a capital Z in a chat room?

In the Camfrog for Windows app, you can assign hotkey combinations to certain common actions. By default "SHIFT + Z" is set as a hotkey for Push To Talk. These hotkeys can be changed by opening the settings window, and going to the General/Hotkeys section.
