How to speed up FVD Speed Dial for Google Chrome?

Is FVD Speed Dial working slower than you'd expect? Read on for a few tips to help you speed up the app:

  1. Try switching from 3D to Standard mode in the Settings.

 

  1. Try breaking up speed dials into groups and avoid keeping more than 15-20 speed dials in a single group.

  2. Try disabling the Most Visited mode if you are not using it.

If the methods above did not help, try creating a new browser profile, but first make sure you back-up using How do I make a backup of settings and backgrounds?

To change the profile you need to do the following:

a) Close the browser.
b) Open C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data folder.
c) Rename Default folder to Default1.
d) Open the browser and install the apps again.

You will be able to restore the speed dials with EverSync.
